How Tracker Works
TRACKER's Very High Frequency (VHF) stolen vehicle recovery systems work like an electronic homing device. A covert transmitter is hidden discretely in one of several dozen places around your vehicle. There is no visible aerial or other identifying feature so the thief can't see it and won't know it's there. Unlike the competitors TRACKER have their own, purpose-built, radio network dedicated to getting your vehicle back -fast!
Unlike GPS and GSM based systems, VHF can still recover your vehicle even if it is in an underground car park, a shipping container or transported in a covered trailer. As soon as the active unit is within range of the TRACKER equipped Police Vehicle it will be identified through a unique code known only to TRACKER and the Police.
Monitor, Horizon and Locate products can generate an alert if your vehicle is moved without your knowledge - we then contact you to ensure your vehicle is secure. From then on there are four simple steps to getting your vehicle back:
Tracker Models and Pricing
TRACKER Retrieve is the original Stolen Vehicle Recovery product, and is installed covertly in the vehicle by our TRACKER approved engineer. The TRACKER Retrieve unit is passive until TRACKER activates it in the event of a theft, at which point it begins communicating with our network, as well as police cars and helicopters. European coverage is included; as is vehicle repatriation back to the UK. These services are included in your annual or duration subscription at no additional cost.

TRACKER Monitor product has a sophisticated movement sensor, which notifies TRACKER if the vehicle is illegally moved. When TRACKER is alerted of an illegal movement the customer is contacted to confirm whether the vehicle has been stolen. European coverage is included; as is vehicle repatriation back to the UK. These services are included in your annual or duration subscription at no additional cost.

TRACKER Horizon adds GPS location and the sophisticated motion detection found in the Monitor product. When TRACKER is alerted of an illegal movement the customer is contacted to confirm whether the vehicle has been stolen and can then alert the police to the location of the stolen vehicle, speeding recovery. European coverage is included; as is vehicle repatriation back to the UK. These services are included in your annual or duration subscription at no additional cost.
